About Health Education North West (HENW)

deanery areaHealth Education North West (HENW) is a non-statutory organisation and is co-terminus with the Cheshire and Merseyside boundaries (2,265,000 population¹). Since October 2011, as a consequence of ‘Equity and excellence: Liberating the NHS’, HENW as part of the former NHS North West comes under NHS North of England as the current statutory body.

From April 2013, HENW will be part of a Local Education and Training Board under Health Education England; a Special Health Authority accountable to the Secretary of State for Health.

Supported by an extensive seminar programme, this is your chance to get vital
career guidance and skill development to help plan your next career move.

 

The Health Education North West (Mersey) Careers Fair is aimed at

  • Medical Students
  • Foundation Year 1 & Year 2 Trainees
  • Core Trainees
  • Specialty Trainees
  • Specialty doctors
  • All other doctors welcome

 

We will be running seminars throughout the day to help you make the most of
attending the fair. These sessions offer a chance for you to take time out of the
hustle and bustle of the exhibition and give yourself half an hour to consider
what you will do next.
