Course Outline
The purpose of this course is to fulfil both dentists & DCPs radiography GDC CPD requirements in one day & will allow delegates to meet Ir(ME)R2000 & IRR99 regulations.
Barbara Dixon is a GDP with a relevant postgraduate radiography qualification & has devised a course relevant to the whole dental team.

- The nature & effects of radiation
- Radiation doses
- Image formation & capture
- Film handling & processing
- Processor use maintenance & care
- Processing film faults
- Risk assessment & practical radiation safety
